The ability to control one’s destiny through communication is the goal at Habilitation Services!

Our speech therapy team specializes in developmental language, oral motor (mouth) function, speech production, articulation, vision and hearing as it impacts communication, sensory integration, and alternatives to spoken communication. Therapists also have experience in treating clients with feeding and swallowing difficulties.

At Habilitation Services, individual treatment plans are developed to give the client the best opportunity for successful communication experiences using a variety of therapy techniques. Techniques include Beckman Oral Motor Protocol, MORE oral program, PECS and phonological awareness programs and VitalStim.

Speech therapy is available to children from birth to young adulthood at our Columbus clinic and through contract services in schools, county boards of MRDD and residential facilities in both Columbus and the Cincinnati areas.
